Hunting
Total surface area of the farm is about 500 hectares.
Situated between 300 and 450 meters altitude.
Crossed by two rivers: the Muccione that borders the property
on the northwest side, and the Pesciola that crosses almost centrally
through the reserve.
The environment of the reserve is among the most varied: pastures,
woods, hills, mountains, large canals, vinyards, olive groves, chestnut
groves, orchards and cultivated, leveled fields of corn, wheat,
sunflower, and various fodders.
It is subdived into 7 hunting zones, each of which offers different
landscapes and itineraries:

panoramic, with olive groves, woods and cultivated fields for
game. Characterized by the lake, where the group duck hunts take
place: ideal also for pheasants.
- Zone Vigne (“Vinyard”) : Completely level
zone formed by abundant vinyards, where a particular environment
for partridge and grey partridge hunting has been recreated.
- Zone Beccaccia (“Woodcock”) : Level and characterized
by a stream that crosses the land and divides it into two canals;
adapted for pheasants and partridge.
- Zone Rigola : Slightly steep, more difficult to hunt
but equally beautiful, this zone is characterized by olive groves,
woods and by the river Miccione.
- Zone Recinto (“Enclosed”): Placed just under
the mountains, formed by a wood, it is the ideal atmosphere for
wild boar hunting.
- Zone Dierti : Formed by large vinyards and pastures,
ideal for partridge and grey partridge hunting.
- Zone Oliveta (“Olive grove”) : Crossed by
the river Pesciola, hilly, with olive cultivation and fields adapted
for game hunting, ideal for pheasant, partridge, and grey partridge.
